Somatic Movement, moving beyond stress, trauma, burnout, anxiety, fatigue & post illness through embodied awareness. This holistic & expansive approach to mindful movement is a practice of self enquiry: enabling you to observe how you ‘Feel’ rather than what you ‘think one should experience’.

We move away from the traditional aligned, anatomical language, rather to sense into subtle, more primal movements such as undulations of the spine, twisting & moving through the spiral lines of our internal network, Somatic Movement allows agency to coax out tension stored in the tissues, the deeper layers where unprocessed emotions can be stored, improve body awareness, and achieve a harmonious cohesion between the mind and body. It is an intuitive, healing modality, giving the student space to disconnect from the outer noise through subtle guidance and listen through heartfelt embodiment.
